A new Whānau Ora research website has been launched to showcase toolkits, resources, researchers and whānau success stories. The website will be developed in partnership with Te Puni Kōkiri over the next 12 months. Researchers, providers and whānau will be encouraged to share their experiences and learning with others.

The website is is hosted by Community Research (the 'Tangata Whenua, Community and Voluntary Sector Research Centre'). It was launched by Minister for Whānau Ora Tariana Turia at the ‘Te Anga Mua: Whānau Ora Research Seminar’ in Wellington on 23 November 2012. 

Community Research Tangata Whenua Co-Chair Kataraina Pipi said, “We hope the Whānau Ora research website will lead to an awareness of and use by Māori of community research, particularly those with an interest in action research developments in the Whānau Ora context”.
