Advanced SearchSearch tips: To search for an exact phrase, use quotation marks around the phrase. For example,"Abused men" will return publications with that exact text. To narrow a search to return results for ALL key words or phrases, use and between them. For example, "Intimate partner abuse" and "Physical abuse" will return documents matching BOTH phrases. To expand a search to return results for ANY key words or phrases, use or between them. For example, "Intimate partner abuse" or "Physical abuse" will return documents matching EITHER of the phrases. To exclude key words or phrases from a search, use not between them. For example, "Sexual assault/rape" not "Sexual abuse" will find the former but exclude the latter. To exclude a word from a search, add a - to the front of the word. For example, -Wellington will find publications that do not contain the text Wellington. Wildcard Search: You can search for wildcards by adding an * to the end of a word. For example, Abus* will match Abuse and Abused. Reserved characters: Please do not use punctuation characters in search terms. In particular do not use colons : as this will result in zero 0 items being found. |
