The New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse provides information about current and future events relating to family violence prevention and intervention. This includes conferences (national and international), hui, forums, seminars, workshops and news about international visitors to New Zealand who have a particular interest or area of expertise in the field or have made a contribution to the understanding of family violence.

Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples - Dr Rebecca Jorgensen
1 & 2 September 2008 Wellington, New Zealand Hosted by: Relationship Services This two-day workshop is hosted by Relationship Services. EFT is a leading approach to couples work in America and in Britain. It combines the approaches of attachment theory, systemic thinking and experiential practice to working with couples, and is one of the most empirically supported approaches to couple therapy. Rebecca is a lead trainer in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), having trained therapists throughout North America. She is a leading supervisor, trainer and researcher for EFT at the San Diego centre for EFT, and she teaches couples therapy on two doctoral programmes.
