Abstract

This workshop will explore the opportunities of children's voices for young people, including some who have experienced care with Barnardos.

"This is who I am. This is OK", is a speech written by a child in fostercare and forms the basis of the workshop.

Barnardos vision is "A society where children can grow up to be caring people and quality parents." Their mission is "To help NZ children experience a cycle of success through effective care,support and education."

Children have the right to have a voice no matter what their story is.

Please note this workshop is limited to 50 people.
