The Lie was made with permission from the Millane family and examines the murder of 21-year-old British backpacker Grace Millane and the 'rough sex' defence used at trial.
The panel discussion and Q&A after the screening will feature lead academics in violence against women, Paulette Benton-Greig and Nicola Gavey, as well as Youth Advocate, Layba Zubair, Youth Community Development Worker, Imogen Stone, with HELP Auckland's Director, Kathryn McPhillips, as moderator.
