Te Mana Whakaatu | Classification Office are facilitating the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) - an international counter-extremism ‘think and do’ tank - to deliver a workshop which aims to build capacity around positive online interventions to counter a new generation of extremism threats.

The session will first outline key developments in the rapidly shifting extremist threat landscape in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally. It will then introduce innovative and impactful models for positive online interventions, including promising emerging approaches. Finally, the session will provide practical tools for safely navigating interventions, such as digital hygiene and operational security, evaluation strategies, safeguarding and ethics.
