Community engagement on a National Strategy and Action Plans

In 2021, the government launched work to develop a National Strategy and Action plans to eliminate family violence and sexual violence in Aotearoa New Zealand. 

The strategy, Te Aorerekura, was launched in December 2021. 

The information and resources in the pages below were collated by the NZ Family Violence Clearinghouse to help people participate in the government’s consultation and engagement process. You will also find analysis papers summarising the themes and submissions that emerged through the consultation process.
